    What to Expect

If you’re nervous about receiving spinal care, that’s okay. Here are a few things that can help you prepare for your adjustment.

    What is a Chiropractor?

Chiropractors are health care professionals. Doctors of chiropractic adjust the human spine and other body parts. Each chiropractic technique can help your body function properly again.

Visiting a chiropractor in Littleton, CO, can help correct any spinal alignment issues you’re experiencing. An alignment issue can cause inflammation and pain symptoms.

Improving your alignment can help blood flow to the area. The increase in blood flow will ensure the damaged area heals properly.

You can visit a chiropractor for neck pain, back pain, or headaches. Chiropractic care could speed up your recovery time and reduce your symptoms.

    Your Consultation Appointment

Before receiving chiropractic care, your chiropractor will complete an assessment. They’ll try to determine what caused you to experience pain. Maybe you were in a car accident or sustained a sports injury.

Perhaps bad posture or repeating the same motion caused your neck or back pain.

Your chiropractor will ask questions like:

    • What activities make the pain worse?
    • What activities relieve the pain?
    • Are you experiencing a throbbing, dull, or sharp pain?
    • Do you have a history of back pain?
    • What other symptoms are you experiencing?

They’ll also need to take your medical history. Let your chiropractor know if you’re taking any medications or have a pre-existing condition.

    The Physical Exam

Your chiropractor will also assess your health by completing a physical exam. They’ll check your:

    • Reflexes
    • Muscle strength
    • Muscle tone
    • Range of motion

Were you injured in an accident? Your chiropractor might need to use imaging tests to diagnose your condition.

    The Diagnosis and Treatment

Your chiropractor will determine the root cause of your pain before choosing the best course of action. A few chiropractic treated conditions include:

    • Lower back pain
    • Headaches and migraines
    • Frozen shoulder
    • Neck pain
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Stress
    • Poor posture

Once they’ve diagnosed the issue, your chiropractor can make customized recommendations. They’ll ask you what goals you want to accomplish with your treatment as well.

Each chiropractic technique can improve your spinal and nervous system health. These might include:

    • Electrical stimulation
    • Chiropractic adjustments
    • Relaxation techniques
    • Hot and ice therapy
    • Dietary supplementation
    • Weight loss, diet, and lifestyle counseling
    • Physical therapy/rehabilitative exercises

How long you need treatment will vary based on the extent of your injuries.

    kst adjustmentWhat is an Adjustment?

A spinal adjustment involves using controlled force to improve spinal motion. Your chiropractor might use their hands or an instrument to focus just the right amount of energy. An adjustment will ensure your spine remains in alignment.

By ensuring your spine is aligned correctly, your body will have a chance to heal itself. You’ll also find it’s easier to move without pain impacting your range of motion.

    The Benefits

Visiting a chiropractor in Littleton, CO, could improve your overall health.

One of the most apparent benefits of chiropractic care is that it can ease your pain. Relying on painkillers can lead to an addiction. You might experience side effects or develop a tolerance.

Your chiropractor will consider the root cause of your pain instead of treating your symptoms.

An adjustment could help you sleep, too. If you’re uncomfortable, pain and tension might keep you awake. Spinal care could improve your neck and back pain to help you sleep.

Otherwise, a misalignment might contribute to headaches. Improving blood flow can ensure oxygen travels to your brain.

Regular alignments can also boost your immune system. When your spine is aligned, blood will flow with ease. Your white blood cells can travel and fight invaders or illnesses.

Talk to your chiropractor about your health goals to see how regular treatments can help.

How Can Chiropractic Care Help Me?

Are you suffering from a condition or localized pain? Let your chiropractor know about your symptoms. Here are a few areas they can treat with spinal care.

    back painBack Pain

Chiropractic techniques are 40% more effective in treating lower back pain than medical care. About 35 million Americans receive treatment every year. Almost 50% of these patients visit due to lower back pain.

Your chiropractor can reduce your mild to moderate back pain.

man with neck painNeck Pain and Headaches

If you’re experiencing neck pain, it could cause you to develop regular headaches. You can visit a chiropractor for headaches originating from your neck or cervicogenic headache treatment. They can help relieve migraines, too.

Remember, taking medication will only mask your pain symptoms. Over time, you could develop a tolerance. Choosing chiropractic care gives you a drug-free treatment option.

    man with sciatica pain Sciatica

Your sciatic nerve stretches along your lower back to the back of each leg. If you’re experiencing sciatica pain, talk to your chiropractor. They can help you avoid steroid injections.

Do you sit at a desk all day? Poor posture during the day could contribute to your neck and back pain.

A chiropractic adjustment can ease your pain. Your chiropractor can also help you find options to improve your office ergonomics.

    Frozen Shoulder

Does your shoulder joint feel stiff? It could impact your range of motion. An adjustment could relieve your pain.

If you’re experiencing any of these conditions, a doctor might suggest surgery. Try chiropractic care first. Regular adjustments could ease your pain.

You could avoid expensive, invasive surgery with spinal care instead.

  • Most Important Video on Vaccines for Covid-19

    UPDATE-

A lot of what Geert predicted is now coming true. This groundbreaking video dives into the issues with the vaccine rollout, innate immunity, naturally acquired immunity and other topics regarding the Covid-19 vaccinations. If you want to understand more about how this vaccine may affect your immune system then please watch this video. It will be worth your time! Check out the latest video here-

Geert Vanden Bossche uploaded a new video just recently summarizing his findings and why he is still concerned about this mass vaccination program. Here is that video titled “Why do we always need to learn things the hard way? Summary, key lessons and conclusions”

As most of you know, I love to research current topics and involve health and wellness. Obviously, the most recent and pressing matter is Covid-19. I don’t share all the information I read, listen to, or watch. However, some information needs to be heard by as many people as possible. This video is one of those pieces of information.

Forewarning, it is a conversation between two doctors and can get very scientific. But don’t let that intimidate you because it is a piece of essential information. The video at the end of this blog is a little easier to understand as it is explained in more detail by Del Big Tree.

Geert Vanden Bossche, DMV, Ph.D., is an independent virologist and world-renowned vaccine expert, formerly employed at GAVI and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He published an open letter to the World Health Organization about his concerns with the way we are vaccinating people during this pandemic.

From Dr. Vanden Bossche’s open letter, “As stated, I am not against vaccination. On the contrary, I can assure you that each of the current vaccines have been designed, developed and manufactured by brilliant and competent scientists. However, this type of prophylactic vaccines are completely inappropriate, and even highly dangerous, when used in mass vaccination campaigns during a viral pandemic.”

“Unless I am scientifically proven wrong, it is difficult to understand how current human interventions will prevent circulating variants from turning into a wild monster.”

Here is the ultimate question from his open letter, “How long can one ignore the problem when there is at present massive evidence that viral immune escape is now threatening humanity?”

Geert is far from an “anti-vaxxer.” He is very much pro vaccines. However, he also understands that certain vaccines given at the wrong time can make things worse. He talks about viral immune escape, which is the worst thing that can happen with this virus.

If you don’t know what viral immune escape is, look it up online to get more detail. However, in a nutshell, it is when a virus mutates faster than scientists can make a vaccine. Even more concerning is that vaccinated individuals have a sub-optimal immune response leaving them vulnerable to a more deadly mutated strain of this virus.

This sub-optimal response alters or shuts off the innate immune response in favor of acquired antibodies. Natural antibodies are not specific to a particular pathogen; acquired antibodies target only one pathogen.

According to Dr. Vanden Bossche, this virus is mutating at a rate of every 10 hours. The mutated virus could bypass your immune system and create havoc. Scientists would have to make new vaccines for each of these new strains of the virus to ensure the immune system is activated.

Think about it this way, because there are so many variants of this virus circulating, only the most potent viruses will survive. It is much like creating “superbugs” with antibiotics.

Please take the time to watch this interview and see for yourself how this approach to vaccinating might be harmful. There are two different videos that I am going to direct you to; the first is just the interview of the two doctors. The second is from Del Bigtree, who comments on this video.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at the clinic. I hope this helps you understand what is going on currently with this pandemic.

Please forward this information to your friends and family!

6 Ways to Treat Early Memory Loss Without MedicationDo you notice things are harder to remember than they used to be? Are you worried that you or a loved one might have early memory loss?

A study found that one in nine Americans over the age of 45 report memory issues. But there are ways you can treat these issues without medication. Keep reading to learn about these treatments for memory loss so that you can live a normal, productive life.

    schedule free neurofeedback evaluation today

Here are 6 ways to treat early memory loss-

    #1. Get Organized

You can easily forget things if your home is cluttered and you don’t have notes. Jot down everything in one special notebook, electronic planner, or calendar. Write things down, such as tasks, appointments, and other events.

Try to keep everything together. You may want to repeat something out loud as you write it down to help you remember. Be sure to keep your list updated and check off things as you complete them.

Try to limit your distractions and don’t do too much at one time. If you focus on what you want to remember, you can likely recall it later

#2. Exercise Regularly to Help Reduce Early Memory Losswoman suffering from memory loss

Exercise is good for more than just your heart and body; it can also help your memory. A study found that women with early signs of memory loss that started an exercise program increased the area’s size in the brain associated with memory.

It would be best if you tried to get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity, such as brisk walking or jogging. If you don’t have time for a full workout, try doing 10-minute intervals throughout the day.

#3. Stay Mentally Active to Keep Memory Loss at Bay

We are all aware that physical activity is good for your body; similarly, mental exercises can help your brain stay in shape.

Try doing tasks such as playing bridge, driving alternate routes, completing crossword puzzles, or learning a new instrument. You can also volunteer at a community organization or the school to keep your mind active.

    #4. Get Enough Sleep

Sleep is vital to help your brain consolidate your memories so you can remember them down the road. Make sleep a priority in your life. You should get at least seven to nine hours of sleep every day.

    #5. Eat the Right Foods

Diet plays a vital role in your brain health. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. It would help if you also ate low-fat proteins like beans, fish, and skinless poultry.

Be careful about the amount of alcohol you drink because it can lead to memory loss and confusion. Limit your processed foods and sugar.

    #6. Try Neurofeedback Therapy

This brain-based treatment is non-invasive and encourages the brain to work better throughout the training. Neurofeedback therapy analyzes your brainwaves to create a personalized training program.

It addresses any problem brainwave patterns that are a sign of memory loss and other brain issues such as anxiety, depression, headaches, chronic pain, and more.

  • How to Cope with a Traumatic Brain Injury

traumatic brain injuryTraumatic brain injury is one of the significant causes of death and disability in the US.

Long-lasting effects of a traumatic brain injury can include movement issues, memory problems, depression, anxiety, and vision and hearing issues.

The good news is that treatments can help you cope with the effects of a traumatic brain injury. The even better news is that this braining training is safe and effective, with no side effects.

Read on as we take a look at how neurofeedback therapy can help.

    schedule free neurofeedback evaluation today

    What is Neurofeedback Therapy?

Neurofeedback therapy is a new therapy that involves using an electroencephalogram (EEG) to assess the patient’s brainwaves.

The brainwave patterns are then used to form a personalized training program. This program trains the brain to develop new patterns.

Over time, this training can condition your brain to create the desired patterns. In effect, it is possible to ‘re-wire’ your brain.

The training involves using a gentle “carrot and stick” system or positive reinforcement to encourage your brain to form healthier patterns.

traumatic brain injuryHow Does It Help?

Certain types of brainwave activity can correlate to some of the adverse effects of a traumatic brain injury. For example, excessive beta brainwaves on the right side of the brain can correspond with anxiety.

Your brain can be conditioned to no longer make harmful patterns once they’ve been detected. This can significantly improve anxiety and depression symptoms, ADD/ADHD, memory loss, PTSD, and more.

The training process is non-invasive and does not require any medication. Because this process does not use medicines, there are no severe side effects.

    What to Expect

The process is straightforward. We use electrodes to measure your brain activity in real-time. You then sit back and watch a show or listen to music.

When the electrodes detect either too high or too low brain activity, the movie is dimmed, or the music volume lowered; this is enough to distract your brain as you refocus on the film or music. This refocusing corrects your brainwave patterns, and the movie or music will continue as usual.

By repeating this process, your brain learns what the more desirable brain patterns are, and over time it learns to make them on its own.

With enough sessions, your brain can be permanently changed to no longer make negative brain patterns without any further training or intervention.

You should see a significant improvement in your traumatic brain injury symptoms once the negative brain patterns have been corrected.

Food Does More Than Curb Hunger

Close-up of some fruits such as apples, kiwis, lemons and berries on nutritionist table.

Your body tells you when to eat. Through cravings, it may even tell you what to eat in a roundabout way. But, food does much more than curb the sensation of hunger.

Food consists of the macronutrients protein, carbohydrates, and fat and micronutrients, like sodium, magnesium, potassium, etc. Your body breaks it down and sends crucial elements to fuel energy, create structures, and carry out chemical processes.

What you eat impacts how you function physically, but it also affects your thoughts and feelings.

Many people suffer from skin rashes, inflammation, exhaustion, sleep disorders, and mood swings, all from eating foods that do not agree with their body. On the other hand, you can use specific foods to eliminate all of these symptoms.

Eating “good foods” may help you stay fit. But, eating the foods that fit your needs through a functional nutrition plan maximizes your physical, mental, and spiritual health.

    Individual Focus

Personalized nutrition takes a full look at the individual, rather than assuming that everybody needs the same thing. Setting aside size and weight, which significantly differs among individuals, people also possess different bone structures, fat compositions, hormone levels, and the mind’s intricacies.

This approach assesses the health of a person’s mind, body, and spirit to feed each personal aspect properly. It looks at what you need first and then translates that into a plan. Taking in precisely what your unique body needs means maintaining wellness.

    Proactive Approach

Western approaches to anything health relates typically look at symptoms. But, when you only look for signs and symptoms, you wait for something to go wrong before stepping in.

Functional alternative nutrition takes a proactive approach to wellness. We look at the whole person and the entire body. You can use food to fix ailments that arise. The focus is on preventing illness in the first place, instead of dealing with issues as they arrive, by catering to the needs of the individual.

    Longterm Wellness

Medicines often help you feel better for the moment. However, all medications have side effects or unintended effects that can cause adverse outcomes. Personalized nutrition looks specifically at you as an individual and works to keep you feeling your best.

You do not only use it when you feel sick. Every meal becomes a conscious decision towards living a healthy life; this leaves you with a long-term solution rather than a bandaid fix. We want to use nutrition not only to get you healthy but keep you healthy for a lifetime.

  • 5 Facts About Neurofeedback Therapy and Training Your Brain

Facts About Neurofeedback Therapy and Training Your BrainHave you been looking into neurofeedback therapy in Littleton, Colorado? Maybe you’re trying to figure out if it’s the right option for you. What is neurofeedback therapy anyway?

There is not enough public information about neurofeedback therapy, so you may not know what it is or how it works. It makes sense that you’re cautious about starting. Training your brain is not something you want to take lightly.

We want to help. We have a few critical facts about neurofeedback therapy that can help you make an informed decision about your treatment. If you are curious about neurofeedback therapy, please keep reading to learn more.

Fact #1: Neurofeedback Helps With Many Mental Conditions

Some people think that neurofeedback therapy is only for depression; this is not true! While neurofeedback does help with depression, it can also be an effective treatment for plenty of other conditions.

Anxiety, attention deficit disorder, mood disorders, sleep disorders, addiction recovery, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and many more conditions can benefit from neurofeedback therapy.

As you can see, re-training your brain isn’t limited to the neural pathways associated with chronic depression. It can make your entire brain function optimally.

Fact #2: It Literally “Re-Trains” Your Brain

Speaking of re-training, that is precisely what neurofeedback therapy can do for you. Neurofeedback training is like exercise for your brain.

You will get your brain mapped out by a professional neurofeedback therapist who will then create a treatment plan that’s right for you. They’re able to identify the parts of your brain that are not working efficiently and plan to make adjustments accordingly.

Using operant conditioning (positive reinforcement) will encourage your brain to get back into the proper brain wave function to feel better and have more balance.

    Fact #3: It’s Safe

When we think of things “fixing the brain,” the old stereotypes of antiquated mental institutions come to mind. Modern neurofeedback training is nothing like that.

Modern technology allows us to do these procedures in a safe way that has no adverse effects as long as you’re going to a professional.

Most people thoroughly enjoy this training. The only mild side effects we have seen with our patients are irritability and fatigue at our clinic. These training effects are temporary, and the long term effect is more emotional balance and energy.

    Fact #4: It’s Non-Invasive

Many people ask if we are putting electricity into their brains. With neurofeedback, there is no energy going into the brain. We are only reading the brain wave patterns coming from your brain. With this training, you’re in and out of the office in no time. It’s not much different from a typical counseling session.

Because this training is non-invasive, it means that you’ll be able to drive yourself home and get back to your daily activities.

    Fact #5: It’s Good for Treatment-Resistant Conditions

Not everyone benefits from traditional methods of treatment like counseling and psychiatric medications. For those patients, neurofeedback is a great choice. It may be the only choice.

If you choose to stay on your standard therapy and medication regimen, neurofeedback can also work alongside your medications. You may find that you’ll reduce the use of them over time as treatment continues.

Bonus: You Can Find Neurofeedback Therapists in Littleton

While this might seem like advanced technology that you’d have to travel long distances for, you can find neurofeedback therapy in Littleton, Colorado; why not come check it out? It might be the best thing you could do for yourself and your brain.

Are you looking for chiropractic offices in Littleton, Colorado? If so, take a look at these five questions you should be asking Colorado chiropractic offices.

    schedule appointment today

Question #1: What Are Your Chiropractors Specialities?

Individuals are required to be licensed and have undergone specific educational requirements to become a chiropractor. There are national board tests and state tests to be a licensed chiropractor in Colorado.

Many chiropractors have specific specialties. For example, some have done extra studies in pediatric or sports injuries. Some chiropractors have certifications in wellness or nutrition.

When you ask a prospective chiropractor what their qualifications are, it can give you a chance to understand some of their backgrounds. You will learn the schooling that they went through and how many years they have been practicing.

Question #2: Do You Treat My Condition?

Everyone seeks out chiropractic care for different reasons. Whether you are looking for treatment for a specific pain or symptom or looking to increase your health, knowing if your chiropractor has experience with your issue is essential. Some Littleton chiropractors may focus on particular conditions, while other chiropractors might practice one specific technique.

When you go to a chiropractor, it is generally because of a specific issue you have been experiencing. It’s a good idea to ask a chiropractor before setting up an appointment whether they have experience treating your particular condition.

Question #3: Ask Your Chiropractor To Provide References

Hopefully, you found a chiropractor that was recommended to you by a friend or family member. However, if you didn’t get a personal referral, then getting references is a good idea.

When you are going to a Littleton CO chiropractor, you are putting your health in someone else’s hands. This decision should result in careful consideration. For this reason, it is a good idea to ask for references.

When you ask for references, the best method is talking directly to current patients. If that is not possible, the next best thing would be video testimonials. Often written testimonials on websites can be unreliable. You can always look for reviews online for the clinic as well.

You can never learn too much about the person you are considering making your chiropractor.

Question #4: Ask Your Chiropractor About Payment Plans

Depending on your financial situation, you might be interested in a chiropractor that offers payment plans. Most offices have payment plans to help with the costs. Many people don’t think to cover the more practical aspects of the treatment, such as payment. It’s a good idea to ask this question ahead of time, so you are not surprised when it’s time to pay the bill.

Many offices, like our Littleton CO chiropractic clinic, are direct pay clinics. Direct pay means that you are responsible for the payment at the time of service. However, if you would like to use your insurance, our office will provide an appointment receipt to reimburse you.

Question #5: Ask About The Services They Offer

If you are a person who is looking to increase your health and wellness, then know what services your chiropractor offers are essential. Many chiropractors provide many different treatment options. It can be a good idea to understand what other services are provided in the clinic.

If you need additional wellness care, having a wellness center that can do many different therapies under one roof is helpful. For example, at the Dody Chiropractic Center For Wholeness in Littleton, CO, we offer chiropractic care, functional medicine, and neurofeedback therapy.

Find the Right Chiropractic Office in Littleton, Colorado

Finding the right chiropractor for you is a very personal decision. It is crucial to have a positive working relationship with any healthcare practitioner that you are visiting. For this reason, it is a good idea to shop around and ask various offices several questions before making a decision.

Have you been googling things like “chiropractic near me” or “best chiropractic offices”? This search can help you find a convenient location, but make you are in the right chiropractic clinic to get the care you need.

  • 5 Unexpected Benefits of Functional Nutrition

5 Unexpected Benefits of Functional NutritionDo you want to improve your diet? Do you struggle with finding the right meal plan? The U.S. diet and weight loss industry are worth $72 billion with hundreds of different diets out there—no wonder it’s so confusing!

Functional nutrition considers every aspect of each individual’s diet, health, lifestyle, and more to give them the right nutrition recommendations for their body. There are many benefits of functional nutrition that are unexpected such as:

    • no one-size-fits-all diet,
    • getting essential nutrients,
    • gut health is vital,
    • it is not only about food and
    • quality matters.

Keep reading to discover why you should consider functional nutrition in Denver.

    Nutritional evaluation

Benefit #1: No-Diet Works for All

There’s a reason there are so many diet plans out there; there is no one diet that works for everyone. Your diet needs to change with your age, lifestyle, and health. Functional nutrition plans are personal, so it focuses on the individual patient.

Some people need targeted interventions with specific foods to help treat underlying health issues. Everyone is different, so nutrient plans should differ from person to person.

    Benefit #2: Get Essential Nutrients

Your food makes up the building blocks of your body. Nutrients such as probiotics, minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, complex carbohydrates, amino acids, and more keep your body healthy.

When you give your body what it needs, you are setting your body up to stay healthy. Holistic nutrition plans cater to your body.

    Benefit #3: Prioritize Gut Health

More than 80 percent of your immune system is in your gut. By feeding your body the proper food, you can lower your risks for inflammation, infections, autoimmune diseases, and hormone imbalances.

You need to keep your gut healthy with beneficial bacteria and prevent pathogens and the wrong food from causing issues. Problems such as irritable bowel syndrome and leaky gut tell you that something is wrong.

Benefit #4: Functional Nutrition Is More Than Food

While it is powerful to eat wholesome food, it is also imperative to know that there is more to your health than what you eat.

For example, functional medicine dieticians will look at your whole health to treat the entire body, including your sleeping habits, stress levels, and the environment. These factors also play a massive role in your overall wellbeing and health.

Your stress and sleep can affect how you digest and absorb your food; this means you may not experience optimal health even with the right food.

Just like the gas you put in your car, the quality determines how well it drives. The components of your food dictate how your body runs. Functional nutrition will help you be aware of what to look for to avoid ingredients that can compromise your systems.

  • Are Unvaccinated Kids Healthy

Health outcome of vaccinated vs unvaccinated kidsParents have the right to decide to vaccinate their children or not. The issue is controversial. There are pros and cons shared for both sides of it. Parents tend to be encouraged to vaccinate as they are told vaccinating will reduce their child’s risk of getting certain ailments.

Are unvaccinated kids healthy? New research data indicates unvaccinated children are just as healthy as or healthier than those with vaccinations. According to the study, unvaccinated children had lower rates of many common childhood diseases such as asthma, allergies, ear infections, and ADHD.

The choice to vaccinate is a tough one. We always coach parents to get as much information as possible. Parents need to ask as many questions to their pediatrician as possible. This new research answers the question- Are vaccinated children healthier than non-vaccinated children? Parents always want to do the best for their children, but do the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risk?

Long-Term Research On Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated Kids

One such study from IPAK, Relative Incidence of Office Visits and Cumulative Rates of Billed Diagnoses Along the Axis of Vaccination, spans data collected over ten years. The long term research is needed because vaccine damage may not surface for years. We need to know the safety of vaccines, and there have been no long-term safety studies.

This study focused on the number of times the patients were in the clinic for medical care beyond a routine checkup. What was unique about this study is that it looked at the total diagnoses with the variable of vaccination. The data sets that were found in this study were rigorously analyzed, and according to the authors, it was hard not to see differences between the two groups.

The study didn’t find unvaccinated children to require more visits to the doctor or to have a higher need for medical care than those that were vaccinated. Some data indicates children who are vaccinated tend to get sick more frequently. It also showed there are CDC safety concerns that are widely ignored when it comes to vaccinations.

Some of the types of health issues found to be higher with those vaccinated include:

    • ADHD and other behavioral concerns
    • Allergies
    • Anemia
    • Asthma and other related breathing concerns
    • Ear pain and infections
    • Respiratory infections
    • Skin disorders including eczema and dermatitis

CDC Lacks These Health Outcome Studies

The CDC does put out warnings about vaccines, and they would like parents to be well-informed before they make any decision. However, the CDC or HHS has not and won’t conduct any research regarding the health of vaccinated versus unvaccinated children. They feel it would be unethical to withhold vaccinations from children to complete the studies.

Other researchers argue there are enough children not being vaccinated due to parental choice to conduct such studies. There is a lot of data that major health insurers have on diagnoses and office visits comparing the two groups of children. Unfortunately, that information is not analyzed for those health outcomes.

Researchers rely on that information to help them conduct their studies and collect data. They have provided such data to Congress to get attention on the issue of vaccinations. This information would be invaluable to parents who want to make an informed choice to either delay or not vaccinate their children.

Part of the information they shared indicates vaccinated children have a higher risk of chronic ailments. While those ailments may not be life-threatening, they do require ongoing medical care. They often require the use of medication ongoing. The reports also share with the CDC and Congress children with a family history of autoimmune issues may struggle with their health if they are vaccinated.

    Questions To Ask About Vaccines

Here are some questions that any parent can ask his or her doctor about vaccines-

    1. Are vaccinated children healthier than non-vaccinated children?
    2. Do the benefits outweigh the possible risks?
    3. Are vaccines effective?
    4. Are vaccine doses personalized to each child?
    5. What’s in a vaccine?
    6. How do vaccines cause damage?
    7. Does good science support vaccination efficacy and safety?

Above is a short list of questions that every parent should have their medical doctor answer. It would be nice to get the actual research that supports the vaccinations. I would also recommend looking at the vaccine shot insert.

    Conclusion Are Unvaccinated Kids Healthy

The decision to vaccinate or not is one many parents struggle with every day. They may feel pressure from their child’s doctor and society to have it done. It is essential to look at the facts and to evaluate the information.

More information allows parents to make a choice they feel is right for their household. It is reassuring to know the data doesn’t show unvaccinated children are unhealthy. In many instances, they are just as healthy as or healthier than vaccinated children.

kst adjustment at dody chiropractic in littleton coloradoChiropractic care has changed due to growing research and technology development. So when you are choosing a chiropractor, look at the techniques they use first.

For example, at our office, we use the Korean Specific Technique (KST), a relatively new chiropractic technique with immediate results. We trust this adjusting technique because it is gentle, safe, effective, and can help many different conditions.

You can also look into what equipment they typically use when performing assessments and measuring treatment progress. Devices like thermal scanners and pulse wave profilers use state-of-the-art technology to help your chiropractor deliver better, more personalized care.

Researching the techniques and treatment strategies is perhaps the most important step you can take when searching among the best Littleton chiropractors. It is critical to make sure the chiropractic technique or style works best for your body.

    Your Overall Health Needs

Many chiropractors operate by treating only physical symptoms. These chiropractors are called limited scope doctors. But others, take a more holistic approach to health, wellness, and healing. Like the one in this office, wellness doctors look at the whole person and all their health concerns. By considering everything, like a person’s stress and nutrition, the chiropractor can resolve the underlying issue, not just the physical symptoms.

So when you’re looking at potential Littleton chiropractors, consider a wholeness center instead of a traditional chiropractic practice, especially if you are looking for long-term wellness strategies for a better quality of life.

Our wholeness center offers neurofeedback therapy that can be used for physical conditions like chronic pain and be used for mental health issues like depression.
