About the practice
One practice, one nervous system
Dody Chiropractic Center for Wholeness has served Littleton since 2003. The idea behind it is simple: the brain and the spine are one nervous system, so it makes sense to look at all of it.

How long has Dody Chiropractic been in Littleton?
Since 2003. Dr. Michael Dody opened the practice in Littleton that year, and it has been here, in one office, ever since.
It started as a chiropractic practice. Dr. Dody came to chiropractic after a sports injury of his own, and the care that helped him recover is what led him into the profession. Once the Littleton practice was established, he grew curious about why some patients plateaued despite good spinal care.
That question took him to neurofeedback, and then to qEEG brain mapping. Over time the practice grew to include both, along with functional nutrition. Today the practice is on South Pierce Street, and people come from across Littleton and the nearby south-west Denver suburbs.
What is the Dody Chiropractic approach?
The approach is to treat the brain and the spine as one nervous system rather than two separate problems. The practice’s shorthand for it is “Brain. Body. Balanced.”
In Dr. Dody’s words, the brain and the spine are not separate systems. They are one nervous system. So instead of deciding in advance that you need an adjustment, or a brain-training program, the practice looks first. Every new patient has the same first visit: a qEEG brain map, nerve scans and a full neurological and chiropractic exam, then a plain-language report of findings. See what the first visit includes.
A few things follow from that:
- Dr. Dody reviews every brain map himself and explains it in plain language.
- Adjustments use the Koren Specific Technique (KST): gentle and instrument-based, with no cracking or twisting.
- Options and cost are explained before anything is scheduled. There’s no package to sign on day one.
- The first-visit fee is published and the same for everyone.
How care fits together
Why combine chiropractic, neurofeedback and nutrition?
Because each looks at a different part of the same nervous system. Combining them lets Dr. Dody choose what fits you, rather than fitting you to the one thing a practice happens to offer. Not everyone needs all of it.
Gentle chiropractic
Instrument-based KST adjusting, guided by nerve scans and a full exam. No cracking or twisting.
qEEG brain mapping
A 20-channel recording of brain activity, compared with an age-matched database. An assessment, not a diagnosis.
Neurofeedback
Non-invasive brain training, planned from your brain map and checked along the way.
Functional nutrition
A detailed look at your blood work, then a personal nutrition and supplement plan with follow-up testing.

The people
Who works at Dody Chiropractic?
A small team led by Dr. Michael Dody, DC, the chiropractor and certified neurofeedback specialist who oversees every patient’s care.
Dr. Michael Dody founded the practice in 2003. He reads every brain map himself, and he’s direct about what he thinks will help and what won’t. His story and training.
Heather Dody co-wrote Brilliant Wellness with Dr. Dody and is part of the practice day to day. About the book.
The front-office team is often who you’ll talk to first when you call or come in. They’ll help you find a time, answer practical questions, and make sure your first visit goes smoothly.
The office
What is the office like?
Quiet and unhurried. There is one office, on South Pierce Street in Littleton, and these are the rooms you’ll walk into.

What won’t we do?
We won’t promise outcomes, pressure you into a plan, or tell you to change your medication.
- No promises. People differ, and individual results vary. We’ll tell you what we see and what we suggest, not what will happen.
- No pressure. The free call is a conversation, not a sales pitch. If Dr. Dody doesn’t think the practice is a good fit for you, he’ll say so.
- No medication advice. Decisions about medication belong to you and your prescribing doctor. Many people we see continue the care they already have.
- No diagnosis from a brain map. A qEEG brain map is an assessment, not a diagnosis. It measures patterns of brain activity; only a licensed clinician can diagnose a condition.
If that sounds like the kind of practice you’re looking for, the easiest next step is a free call with Dr. Dody.
