Our commitment

Dody Chiropractic Center for Wholeness is committed to making dodychiro.com accessible to people of all abilities. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time task. We review new pages against these guidelines as we add them, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better.

What we’ve done

• Built the site with clear headings, landmarks and a single main heading on each page, so screen readers can navigate it
• Added a “Skip to content” link and visible focus outlines, so the site can be used with a keyboard alone
• Made the menu and question-and-answer sections work with a keyboard and without relying on scripts
• Chosen text and background colors with readable contrast in mind, and set text sizes that scale with your browser settings
• Written text alternatives for meaningful images
• Given embedded frames, such as our map and booking calendar, descriptive titles
• Respected your device’s “reduce motion” setting
• Written in plain language and explained technical terms the first time we use them

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from third parties and aren’t fully under our control. These include the online booking calendar and forms provided by our scheduling and messaging provider, the chat window, and the embedded Google map. We choose these tools with accessibility in mind, but they may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.

Visiting the office

Our office is at 7325 South Pierce Street, Suite 102, Littleton, CO 80128. If you have access needs for your visit, let us know when you book or call ahead, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
