Meet Our doctor
Michael Dody, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Dody uses a “whole person approach”. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Dody is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Dody has done advanced training in a very gentle but very effective technique called Koren Specific Technique. There is no twisting, turning, “cracking” or “popping” of joints with KST; instead you receive gentle, specific corrections to your spine and structural system. Patients usually notice dramatic changes from the first visit. Your body will likely hold its corrections for a much longer time with KST, so you can have deeper physical and emotional subluxations (stresses) addressed.

Journey to Chiropractic
You can say chiropractic was a family affair, as Dr. Dody’s first experience with chiropractic started when his mother became an office manager of a chiropractic clinic in Minnesota. He was injured while participating in a sporting event. The doctor at the clinic helped him get back to participating again in an astonishingly short period of time. “I had no idea the amazing healing properties that body had until I had that experience.” That started the journey to serving the Littleton, CO community empowering families toward flourishing health, brilliant happiness and the complete expression of life.
education background
Dr. Dody completed his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science at the University of Minnesota. At the U of M he worked with athletes in sports medicine and as an athletic trainer.
Dr. Dody went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in July 2002.
As a part of his chiropractic education, Dr. Dody got the unique opportunity to complete his internship in Costa Rica, where he served the under privileged in the towns surrounding San Jose. That experience would change his view of how amazing the self healing powers of the human body.
Life outside the office
Dr. Dody is married to his beautiful wife, Heather. They both grew up in Minnesota, so there are regular trips to the land of ten thousand lakes to visit family. They have two young daughters, and a very active lab. Abigail and Lucy, Dr. Dody’s daughters, even come in to greet some days! They like to take in all the outdoor activities and nature that beautiful Colorado has to offer. If you ask, I don’t think they miss the cold winters back in the Twin Cities.
