“At 60+, running a business six days a week, I struggled with focus and accuracy. Neurofeedback was a game-changer. My focus improved, errors reduced, and I now navigate challenges with resilience.”

Why Concussion Symptoms Persist — and What to Do About It
After a concussion, the brain doesn’t always return to baseline on its own. The physical impact disrupts the normal electrical communication patterns between brain regions — and those disrupted patterns can persist long after the structural injury has healed. This is why symptoms like brain fog, difficulty concentrating, irritability, emotional dysregulation, headaches, and sleep problems often linger for months or years despite normal MRI results.
QEEG brain mapping makes the invisible visible. By measuring electrical activity across 20 regions of the brain and comparing your patterns against a normative database, we can identify exactly where function has been disrupted — specific regions, specific frequency bands, specific connectivity patterns. This gives Dr. Dody a precise, data-driven roadmap for your recovery protocol.
Neurofeedback then targets these specific disruptions directly — training the affected regions toward healthier patterns, improving connectivity between areas that lost synchrony, and reducing the compensatory patterns the brain developed around the injury. Many of our TBI patients report improvements that other providers told them were impossible at this stage in their recovery.

The Chiropractic Connection: Critical for Concussion Recovery
Concussions rarely occur in isolation. The same impact that disrupts the brain often causes cervical spine trauma — whiplash-pattern injuries that create ongoing proprioceptive disruption, altered blood flow to the brain, and chronic pain signals that interfere with recovery. Standard concussion protocols often address the brain or the neck, but rarely both together and rarely with the precision required for lasting recovery.
Dr. Dody’s combined expertise in brain-based chiropractic (KST technique) and neurofeedback means we can address both simultaneously. Gentle cervical adjustments restore proper neural signaling from the spine to the brain, while neurofeedback retrains the disrupted patterns directly. The synergy between these two approaches is particularly powerful for concussion recovery.
We work with athletes, accident survivors, military veterans, and anyone whose quality of life has been diminished by a head injury. Our approach is entirely drug-free, non-invasive, and guided by objective brain map data.
Post-concussion symptoms are not permanent. They can be addressed.
Your free in-office evaluation gives you an objective look at what’s happening in your brain — and a clear picture of what a recovery protocol built around your specific injury pattern would look like.
